That's right I remembered to get you a Christmas present! I'll even let you open it early. This album is some fantastic work from the musical masterminds over at Vulfpeck. I don't have too much to say for today.

These are versions of Vulfpeck songs that fans will know and love. This time with a sort of big band jazz feel. As the cover art implies these might be at home playing in a Charlie Brown cartoon. Frankly these are the perfect kind of songs to put on as you try to relax, socialize, and enjoy the end of this year. Something about jazz and old standards sung by crooners never fails to set the soundtrack of the holidays for me.

I love the original versions of these songs and I think these bring something great to the compositions. Whether you celebrate Christmas or something else I hope these will allow you to unwind. That they might help bring light to your gatherings or getaways. The end of the year is a transitory period. We are finishing. We are lamenting those things we lost or failed to finish. We are celebrating. All the little things and big things. Perhaps you aren't done with some things. Maybe some of those albums I have shared before still linger in your mind.

I know there are many things that come to bear at the end of the year. Somehow This album feels an appropriate reprieve from it all.
